    In line with The Cabiri’s mission to preserve the mythologies of extinct and endangered cultures, the “Starlore” series of drop-in courses turns our attention to the celestial cosmologies and practices of various cultures, past and present. Join us every second Saturday of the month to immerse yourself in 90 minutes of starlore. No prior knowledge is expected or necessary. Participants will help determine the course of the next month’s topics. Our first few gatherings will be spent looking at the how the fixed stars have been imagined in various cosmological traditions. Future sessions will include looking into various zodiacs, traditions of planetary magic, and other celestial phenomena and practices. This series is taught by Dr Jenn Zahrt, Honorary Research Fellow of Cultural Astronomy and Astrology at the University of Wales, Trinity Saint David.     In line with The Cabiri’s mission to preserve the mythologies of extinct and endangered cultures, the “Starlore” series of drop-in courses turns our attention to the celestial cosmologies and practices of various cultures, past and present. Join us every second Saturday of the month to immerse yourself in 90 minutes of starlore. No prior knowledge is expected or necessary. Participants will help determine the course of the next month’s topics. Our first few gatherings will be spent looking at the how the fixed stars have been imagined in various cosmological traditions. Future sessions will include looking into various zodiacs, traditions of planetary magic, and other celestial phenomena and practices.     This is not your gym’s barre class! This one-hour ballet barre class, taught by professional dancers, is designed for movers at a beginner dance level. We will focus on fundamentals of vocabulary, alignment, and improving lines and flexibility. It is the perfect warm up for anyone looking to hone their movement skills on the ground.

  • Class: Open Level Contemporary Dance (NEED SUB)

    Dive into the floor and swing your arms with an eclectic blend of contemporary and post-modern movement techniques woven together in this all level contemporary dance class. Classes will include influences from Braindance, ballet, yoga, anatomical awareness, and spirals that will bring you into and out of the floor and develop your capacity to move with ease.

  • Class: Fabric Level III (Jenn)

    NORTH STUDIO

    In this course, we will explore sequences, dynamic work, beats, complex wraps, and integrate movement quality and fabric theory into our aerial fabric technique. Please note, this is a Level III class and you must have successfully graduated from our Aerial Foundations, Aerial Fabric Levels I and II courses and/or have instructor approval prior to registering for this Level III course.
