This 90-minute class consists of a thorough warm up geared towards adults, technical instruction on both vertical and horizontal aerial apparatuses including fabric, rope, sling, hoop, and trapeze, and guided conditioning and cool down at the end. Skills covered in this course include foot climbs, foot locks, straddle inversions, pullovers, hip keys, and knee hangs. By combining passive flexibility and active flexibility, we will cover a vast range of flexibility training methods to help you discover your body’s custom flexibility regimen. This will be an intense class, please be ready to be pushed past your comfort zone. Please come to class with lots of water and wear layers of clothing to stay warm. Please note, two prerequisites apply for this course: All participants must be able to bend forward and touch your toes with knees straight and must be able to push up into a bridge on hands from the floor.
