Charly McCreary is a founding member of the Cabiri, involved with the troupe as a performer since 1999. At age five, she began her professional theatre career performing in musical theater in Northern California. As an adult, she has studied aerial arts, physical theater and dance with Sam Alvarez (Cirque du Soliel, Cavalia), Elsie and Serenity Smith (Cirque du Soliel, NECCA), Fred Deb’ (Drapés Aériens), David Clarkson (Stalker Theatre Company) and countless others. Charly is inspired by myth, mystery, magic and the incomparable opportunity to walk in the shoes of a deity every now and then onstage with the Cabiri. She also serves as Managing Director of the Cabiri and is the troupe’s primary aerial arts instructor.
